I think it does so since you're being creative with the materials of baking to a matter of art. Though, it might be gone after someone takes a bite of it.
definitely art! look at them! yummmmy! you have to have a knowledge of what "works" and what "doesn't work" to make a good cake, the right ingredients, and you must be creative!!
